Bogdan A. Bernevig is a Professor of Physics at Princeton University, affiliated with the Department of Physics. His research focuses on Condensed Matter Theory, particularly quantum states of matter, including twisted moire systems, high-temperature superconductivity, and topological phases of matter. He is the author of 'Topological Insulators and Superconductors' (Princeton University Press, 2013). His work has been recognized with several awards, including the EuroPhysics Prize from the European Physical Society in 2023, the APS James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials in 2019, and the Guggenheim Fellowship in 2017. He was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 2022.
