David De Roure

David De Roure is Professor of e-Research in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. He is also a Fellow of Wolfson College and leads the Oxford e-Research Centre. His research spans digital scholarship, cybersecurity, and music, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches. He is Academic Director of the Digital Scholarship @ Oxford initiative and the Laboratory for AI Security Research. De Roure has co-founded several initiatives, including the PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity and the Software Sustainability Institute. He has also been involved in the Digital Humanities @ Oxford Summer School since 2011.
