Amro Awad

Amro Awad is an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering (Focus on Digital Technologies) at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Department of Engineering Science. His research interests include Computer Architecture, Hardware Security, Hardware/Software Co-design, Security and Privacy. He is also a Tutorial Fellow at University College. Prior to joining Oxford, he led the Secure and Advanced Computer Architecture (SACA) research group at NC State as a tenured Associate Professor. He has held industrial positions at HP Labs, AMD Research, MediaTek USA, and various US government labs. His work has been featured in top conferences in computer architecture and has contributed to several patents and publications.
