Professor Constantin Coussios holds the Statutory Chair of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on biomedical applications of acoustics, fluid mechanics, and control, including therapeutic ultrasound for non-invasive cancer therapy, targeted drug and gene delivery, immuno-oncology, and organ preservation. He founded and leads the Biomedical Ultrasonics, Biotherapy and Biopharmaceuticals Laboratory (BUBBL) and has been instrumental in advancing normothermic isolated organ perfusion technologies.
