Regular biography
Mads Baungaard is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science. He holds a BSc in Physics from Aarhus University and completed his MSc and PhD from the Wind Energy department at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). During his PhD, he conducted an external stay at the Linné FLOW centre of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Wind Energy, RANS and turbulence modelling, and Wind Farm flows. He is a visiting Carlsberg fellow at the University of Oxford from June 2024 to June 2026.
