David Hume is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on areas such as topological expanders, coarse geometry, and thick embeddings of complexes. Hume has contributed to publications on graph layout problems, asymptotic dimension for covers with controlled growth, Poincaré profiles of Lie groups, and thick embeddings of graphs into symmetric spaces via coarse geometry. His work is associated with the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford.
