Abbie Evans is a Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, within the Department of MATH. She is a postgraduate student with a focus on mathematical biology, particularly in infectious disease modelling. Her research involves mathematical modelling studies aimed at understanding and reducing the transmission of diseases such as Ebola. Evans is involved in teaching, serving as a tutor for courses in further mathematical biology, differential equations, and numerical analysis at Brasenose College. Her work contributes to both academic and applied research in mathematical sciences.
