Regular biography
Adam Klukowski is a Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, within the Department of MATH. He is a fourth-year DPhil student working under the supervision of Prof Marković and Prof Kielak. His research focuses on low-dimensional topology and mapping class groups, with recent publications including work on congruence subgroup properties and subsurface subgroups of mapping class groups. Klukowski has also contributed to research on tangle free permutations and the Putman-Wieland property of random covers. His teaching responsibilities include tutoring and marking courses in algebraic topology, topology and groups, and elliptic curves.
