Regular biography
Christopher James William Daniels is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. His research interests include Deeptech, AI, Quantum, Finance, Spin-outs, Start-ups, and Scale-ups. Daniels holds a mathematics degree from Oxford University and an MBA from IESE Business School. He has held various roles in finance, including positions at Barclays, HBOS, and Lloyds Banking Group. Currently, he is involved in entrepreneurial ventures, including Flare Bright Ltd, CSP Ltd, and a financial software consultancy company. He is also an advisory member of the UK National Academy of Mathematics and the Finance Board of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.
