Regular biography
Arham Farid is a Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, within the Department of MATH. She serves as an EDI Officer, focusing on promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the department. Her professional interests include championing EDI in educational and professional spaces, with current projects involving Athena SWAN, race equality, and mental health & wellbeing. Farid comes from an education background in English Literature, Sociology/Anthropology, and Media & Culture Studies. Her research interests lie in creative alternative pedagogies and diversifying the curriculum. She is based in the Andrew Wiles Building, South Wing.
