Regular biography
Catherine Wilkins is a Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, within the Department of MATH. She holds the title of Departmental Lecturer and is affiliated with Exeter College. Her research interests include mathematical modelling and scientific computation, as reflected in her teaching roles, which cover topics such as calculus, dynamics, and mathematical modelling in biology. Wilkins has received several teaching awards, including the Open University Building Excellence Teaching Award in 2020 and the MPLS Division Individual Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2015.
