Regular biography

Andrew Wood is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. He is affiliated with the Mathematical Institute and is based at the Andrew Wiles Building, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Oxford. Wood is a first-year DPhil student supervised by Martin Bridson and Panos Papazoglou. His research interests include Geometric Group Theory and Topological Dynamics. He has contributed to pre-prints on topics such as Edge Inversions in (Pk)-closed Groups and Transitivity in CR-Dynamical Systems. Wood also serves as a teaching assistant for several courses, including Part A Analysis I and II at Queen’s College.
