Regular biography
Eleonora Svanberg is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Her research interests lie at the intersection of physics, number theory, geometry, and computation. She is currently focusing on the geometry and arithmetics of Calabi-Yau manifolds in the context of quantum gravity and black holes, utilizing computational methods such as SageMath and Pari/GP. Svanberg is also actively engaged in outreach and equality policies within STEM education and research, having collaborated with organizations such as UNESCO, the European Union, and the Nobel Prize Foundation. She has published a Swedish book aimed at inspiring young girls to pursue mathematics.
