Regular biography
Georgina Ryan is a Research Fellow at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, within the Department of MATH. Her research interests include fluid mechanics, asymptotics, and electrochemical systems. She holds a MSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Melbourne and a BSc from the same institution. Ryan is affiliated with the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. She has received several scholarships and awards, including the Best Poster - BMC BAMC (2025), Commonwealth Bank John Monash Scholarship (2024), and others. She also serves as a teaching marker and tutor for various courses.
