Fredrik Hasselgren is a Research Fellow in the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Department of MATH. His research interests focus on the transition from classical computing techniques to quantum algorithms, particularly in the near-term and fault-tolerant regimes. Hasselgren's work includes quantum dynamics, simulations, and algorithm design for real-world applications. He is a DPhil student at the Quantum Information, Computation and Cryptography Group. Hasselgren has contributed to publications on quantum-inspired classical simulation and probabilistic computing optimization. He has also served as a tutor for courses in quantum processes and computation.
