Regular biography
Christopher Prior is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Mathematical Institute. His research interests include mathematical modelling of beams in charged particle accelerators, as well as the development of computer modelling codes and computational techniques for the design of advanced accelerator systems, neutron and muon sources, neutrino facilities, nuclear waste transmutation, accelerator-driven nuclear reactors, medical accelerators, and novel accelerator ideas. He has collaborated with institutions worldwide, including CERN, Japan, and national laboratories in the USA.
