Dewil Raf

Professor Raf Dewil is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. His research focuses on resource recovery from aqueous waste streams, with an emphasis on hybrid processes integrating biological and chemical methods. His work includes electrochemical, photocatalytic, and catalytic advanced oxidation processes, as well as the design and application of innovative photo- and electrocatalytic materials. The primary application area involves the removal of pharmaceuticals and other emerging contaminants from water, alongside the recovery of nutrients and valuable components from waste streams.
