Bacci David

Dr. David Bacci is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Engineering Science Department and the Oxford Thermofluids Institute. His research focuses on Unsteady Compressible Flows, Acoustics, Thermo-Fluid-Dynamics, Defence Aeronautics, and Military Aircraft Design. He is also a Visiting Research Fellow in Defence Aeronautics at Cranfield University. Bacci's work includes the analysis of weapon bays, combat aircraft performance, and next-generation turbojets. He completed his PhD at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in 2017, and prior to that, he worked on UCAV design and military flight simulator development for Leonardo Company. His academic background includes a BSc and MSc in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Pisa.
