Anisoara Calinescu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Oxford, Department of Computer Science. She is also an Official Fellow (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at Reuben College and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for New Economic Thinking, University of Oxford. Since October 2021, she has been a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, London. Her research interests include complex networked systems, complexity metrics, agent-based modelling, and digital twins. She joined the Oxford University Computing Laboratory in 2002, following a period as a Research Assistant in the Oxford Manufacturing Research Group.
