Claudia Tait is a Royal Society University Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on advancing Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectroscopy and its application to improve the understanding of fundamental spin-dependent processes in materials and devices for photovoltaics. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Padova and obtained her DPhil at the University of Oxford under Professor Christiane R. Timmel. Her thesis work was awarded the Bruker Thesis Prize by the ESR group of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington and later at Freie Universität Berlin.
