Janice French

Janice French is Head of Administration in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. In this role, she supports the Department’s research and teaching by overseeing operational functions including Facilities, Finance, HR, IT, Research Facilitation, Communications, Alumni, Development, and teaching delivery. She collaborates with the Head of Department and senior colleagues on strategic planning and governance. Prior to joining Oxford in 2020, she worked at Oxford University as Director of Faculty Services in the Said Business School and Head of Administration in the Department of Politics and International Relations.
