Regular biography
Susan Davis is the Alumni Relations & Communications Manager in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford. She is responsible for managing the Chemistry alumni relations programme, organising events for alumni and friends of the Department, and overseeing publicity and communications, including the Chemistry website and the annual magazine Periodic. Prior to her current role, she worked as an editor in academic and scientific publishing, including positions at the Royal Society of Chemistry, Academic Press, and Cambridge University Press. She joined the Department of Chemistry part time to work with Professor Peter Battle on the journal Chemistry of Materials, published by the American Chemical Society, and was appointed to her current position in November 2014.
