Regular biography
Allen Morgan is an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, within the BUS department. He is co-lead instructor on two courses on entrepreneurial finance at the school. Morgan has a long history in venture capital and start-up law, having worked as a general partner, managing director, venture partner, and venture advisor at the Mayfield Fund for 17 years. He also served as a corporate law partner at Latham & Watkins and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Morgan holds an undergraduate AB degree (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Dartmouth College, a second BA and MA from the University of Oxford (Christ Church), and a JD from the University of Virginia.
