Regular biography
Alan South is an Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, within the BUS department. With over 25 years of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, Alan focuses on developing executives' understanding of innovation and its practical application. He has worked with renowned firms such as IDEO and Solarcentury, contributing to significant growth and innovation methods like design thinking. Alan also has a background in product development at Cambridge Consultants and has been involved in executive education through Harvard Business School and McKinsey. He holds a double postgraduate degree in innovation design engineering from Imperial College, London and the Royal College of Art, as well as an engineering degree from the University of Bath.
