Robert W. Field is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the structural and dynamical properties of small, gas-phase molecules, utilizing tunable lasers and advanced spectroscopic techniques. Field's work explores intramolecular dynamics, electron-nuclear interactions, and the interpretation of complex spectra.
