JoAnne Stubbe is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on ribonucleotide reductases, essential enzymes involved in DNA replication and repair. She investigates the radical propagation pathway, protein subunit interactions, regulation of RNRs, and the biosynthesis of metallo-cofactors in various organisms. Stubbe also examines the mechanisms of clinical drugs targeting these enzymes. She is no longer accepting students.
