Andrew Gonzalez

Andrew Gonzalez is a Professor in the Department of Biology at McGill University. His research focuses on Conservation, Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour, with an emphasis on community ecology through experimental and theoretical approaches. His work explores the causes and consequences of extinction in fragmented landscapes and the dynamics of diversity and persistence in variable environments. Gonzalez holds the Liber Ero Chair in Conservation Biology and is a Killam Fellow. He is also the founding director of the Quebec Centre for Biodiversity Science.
