Gregor Fussmann

Gregor Fussmann is a Professor in the Department of Biology at McGill University. His research focuses on Conservation, Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour. He holds the Strathcona Chair in Zoology and serves as Chair of the Department of Biology. Fussmann's work explores population and community dynamics, eco-evolutionary dynamics, and the impact of global/climate change on freshwater ecosystems. His research includes studies on nutrient limitation in lakes, host-parasite dynamics, and the interplay between ecological and evolutionary processes. He employs both theoretical and empirical approaches, utilizing laboratory and field experiments with aquatic organisms.
