Robert D. Howe is the Abbott and James Lawrence Professor of Engineering at Harvard University's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is also the Co-Director of the Harvard MS/MBA program. His research areas include bioengineering, bioinspired robotics and computing, biomechanics and motor control, and related fields. He is affiliated with the BioRobotics Lab and teaches in the areas of Materials Science & Mechanical Engineering. His work explores human-robot interaction, wearable devices, and personalized technologies.
