Regular biography
David Clarke is the Extended Tarr Family Professor of Materials at Harvard University, affiliated with the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research interests include materials science and mechanical engineering, with a focus on soft matter and robotics. Clarke is also a Faculty Associate at the Harvard University Center for the Environment and the Microbial Sciences. His work has contributed to advancements in soft robotics and artificial muscles, as evidenced by recent projects involving multimaterial 3D printing and microrobotics.
