James R. Rice

James R. Rice is the Mallinckrodt Professor of Engineering Sciences and Geophysics, Emeritus, at Harvard University's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include mechanics and its engineering applications, as well as contributions to the understanding of the crust and lithosphere.
