Richard Losick is a Lecturer in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology at Harvard University. His research focuses on bacterial cell biology, gene regulation, and the study of spore formation and biofilm development. Losick has contributed significantly to understanding how bacterial cells differentiate and organize into specialized roles. He has also explored stochastic processes in bacterial development, including noise in gene expression.
