Roxanne P. Springer

Roxanne P. Springer is a Professor of Physics at Duke University, affiliated with the Physics department. Her research focuses on weak interactions and quantum chromodynamics (QCD), with an emphasis on effective theories to study processes in nuclear and particle physics. She explores fundamental symmetry violations in weak interactions and the properties of protons, neutrons, and their partner particles through QCD. Springer's work includes examining the role of intermediate ΔΔ states in nucleon-nucleon scattering and cold neutron-deuteron capture using pionless effective-field theory. She has been a Professor of Physics at Duke University since 2011.
