Crystal Noel

Crystal Noel is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University, affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Pratt School of Engineering. She is also an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. Her research interests include the development of technology for scalable ion trap quantum computers and the use of existing ion trap quantum computers for demonstrations, tests, and simulations. She is a member of the Duke Quantum Center. Noel's work has been featured in publications and news articles, and she has received grants from the National Science Foundation, University of California - Berkeley, and Rochester Institute of Technology.
