Regular biography
Mark C. Kruse is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Duke University. His research focuses on High-Energy Particle Physics, particularly the analysis of data from the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. His work explores phenomena beyond the Standard Model, including Dark Matter, and he leads efforts to develop new techniques for discovering new physics. Kruse is also involved in the construction of next-generation ATLAS silicon tracking detectors for the phase II upgrade. He is affiliated with the Physics department at Trinity College of Arts & Sciences and holds the title of Director of Graduate Studies.
