Jungsang Kim

Jungsang Kim is a Professor of Physics at Duke University, affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He holds the Schiciano Family Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering title. His research focuses on quantum information sciences, with an emphasis on developing scalable quantum information processors and quantum communication networks using trapped atomic ions and photonics technologies. His work involves integrating advanced technologies such as micro-fabricated ion traps, optical micro-electromechanical systems, and single photon detectors. Kim is also the Associate Director of the Duke Quantum Center.
