Regular biography
Simon Divilov, Ph.D., is an Assistant Research Professor in the Thomas Lord Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Duke University. His research focuses on materials science, with an emphasis on high-entropy materials and computational methods for materials discovery. Divilov holds a B.S. from the City University of New York and a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University. His work includes contributions to the development of interatomic potentials, thermodynamic analysis of ceramics, and the application of machine learning in materials science.
