Chuan-Hua Chen

Chuan-Hua Chen is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science in the Thomas Lord Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Duke University. His research interests include experimental and theoretical investigations of small-scale physicochemical hydrodynamics, focusing on the interaction between transport and interfacial phenomena. By manipulating surface tension through electric fields and surface structures, Chen develops solutions for applications in bioanalytical assays and microelectronics cooling. His work has been published in numerous journals, including Applied Physics Letters and Physical Review Letters.
