Regular biography
Yesenia Velasco is a Lecturer of Computer Science at Duke University, Department of Computer Science. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Duke University and has experience as a student tutor and teaching assistant, where she focused on technical courses and identified areas where students struggle. She has taught undergraduate courses at Duke University and has worked closely with other professors to develop her teaching philosophy. Her research interests include networking, autonomous vehicles, and Vehicle-to-Vehicle technology. Velasco is proficient in C/C++, Python, Java, Matlab, HTML, and CSS.
