Joseph C. Nadeau

Joseph C. Nadeau is a Professor of the Practice in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Duke University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests include theoretical and applied mechanics, micromechanics, composite materials, and probabilistic methods. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, an M.Sc. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Nadeau's work has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Earl I. Brown II Outstanding Civil Engineering Faculty Award and the Klein Family Distinguished Teaching Award. His research has contributed to the understanding of composite materials and their behavior under various conditions.
