Xiao Liang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include Cryptography and its intersections with Quantum Computing, Computational Complexity Theory, and Computer Security. His work focuses on theoretical fundamentals such as Zero-Knowledge Protocols, Secure Multi-Party Computation, Non-Malleability, and Digital Signatures, as well as their practical applications like Secure Spectrum Allocation and Plausibly Deniable Storage. His research has been published at conferences such as FOCS, CRYPTO, and ICALP. Prior to joining CUHK, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at NTT Research, Rice University, and Indiana University Bloomington.
