Ada Wai Chee Fu

Ada Wai Chee Fu is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received her B.Sc. degree in computer science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1983, and both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in Canada in 1986 and 1990, respectively. She worked at Bell Northern Research in Ottawa, Canada, from 1989 to 1993 on a wide-area distributed database project and joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1993. Her research interests include database, data mining, and graph data analysis.

Ada Wai-Chee Fu is a researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in Database and Data Mining. Additionally, she has explored dynamic indexing methods for nearest neighbor search and temporal pattern discovery for interval-based events.
