Yu Li

Yu Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on machine learning, healthcare, and bioinformatics, with applications in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learning. He has published 70 papers in top venues, including Nature Biotechnology and Nature Computational Science. Since joining CUHK, his group has produced four works in Nature Biotechnology, Nature Communications, and Nature Computational Science. His work on antibiotic resistance gene detection was featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, Class of 2022. He also received the Department Exemplary Teaching Awards in 2024 at the CSE department of CUHK.
