Jinwei Gu is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include computational imaging, computational photography, computer vision, and machine learning. Prof. Gu joined CUHK in March 2023. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and previously served as R&D Executive Director at SenseBrain from 2018 to 2023. He is an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging and IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence. His work has been published in top conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV, and PAMI.
