Regular biography
Prof. Hung Wing LI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on biomolecular interactions and biomarkers sensing, utilizing fluorescence microscopic methods. His work includes developing ultrasensitive assays for cancer markers, studying Alzheimer’s disease-related beta-amyloid peptides, and creating imaging contrast agents for early disease diagnosis. Prof. LI has contributed to several high-impact publications in areas such as theranostics and biomarker detection. His research is supported by grants from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
