Regular biography
Professor YU, Chai Mei Jimmy is affiliated with the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include the preparation and characterization of novel nano-structured materials and environmental applications of photocatalysis. He has led several research projects funded by the Research Grants Council, focusing on photocatalytic processes for hydrogen evolution and nitrogen fixation. Professor YU has held various leadership roles within the university, including Chairman of the Department of Chemistry and Head of United College. He has also contributed to multiple academic journals as an associate editor and editorial board member.
