Regular biography

Professor Hung Kay LEE is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include the synthesis, structural characterization, and reactivity studies of amidometal complexes, as well as the design of structural and functional mimics to the active sites of various metalloproteins. He has held several leadership roles, including Programme Director of the MSc Programme in Accreditation Chemistry and Associate College Head and Dean of General Education at United College. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, FEBS Letters, and Organometallics.
