Zhifeng HUANG

Professor Zhifeng HUANG is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include sculptured nanoforests fabricated by glancing angle physical vapor deposition, chiral nanoparticles for enantiodifferentiation, surface-enhanced chiroptical spectroscopies, and flexible optoelectronics. He has held various academic and research positions, including Associate Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University and Research Fellow at the HKBU Institute of Research and Continuing Education. His work has been recognized with several awards and honors, including the 2022 Faculty Performance Award in Scholarly Work and the 2021 IAAM Scientist Medal.

Zhifeng Huang is a researcher in nanoscience and technology, focusing on the development and characterization of nanomaterials with unique optical, electronic, and mechanical properties. His work explores single-molecule conductance, local heating effects, and the fabrication of nanostructured materials for energy and optoelectronic applications. Huang's research includes the synthesis of chiral nanomaterials, plasmonic-enhanced films, and conductive textiles, with an emphasis on scalable and sustainable fabrication methods. His studies also address the interaction between nanomaterials and their environments, such as corrosion inhibition and charge storage mechanisms in nanobelts. These efforts highlight his contributions to understanding nanoscale phenomena and their potential for advanced technological applications.
