Qian MIAO

Professor Qian MIAO is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of novel polycyclic aromatic molecules with interesting structures and useful applications, as well as the development of high-performance organic semiconductor materials and devices using tools from organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, and surface chemistry. She has been a faculty member since 2016 and has received several awards, including the Croucher Senior Research Fellowship in 2018 and the CSJ Lectureship Award in 2020. Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition and the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
