Matthias Neubert is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physics at Cornell University. His research interests include theoretical elementary particle physics, heavy-flavor physics, effective field theories, and quantum-field theories of strong and electroweak interactions. He has held various academic positions, including Research Associate at Heidelberg University and Staff Member at CERN. Neubert has also served as a Visiting Professor at Stanford University and SLAC, and as Chair for Theoretical Physics at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz. He is an editor for several physics journals and has received numerous awards, including Fellowships from the German National Scholarship Foundation and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
